- Making a U-turn is only allowed in a roadway that has at least three lanes.
- It is permitted everywhere, but the turn must be made without any maneuvering.
- When no traffic disturbance is caused and no passerby is at risk, provided that there is no road sign that prohibits making a U-turn.
- A U-turn is permitted in an intersection only.
